i have recently read Alcorn's novel Deadline. i have not previously read his work, but was really challenged by the messages that he presented through this fictional portrayal of one man's journey. i look forward to reading more of his work. i posted a review of the book on my site, www.ableknife.com

I just read Safely Home by Randy Alcorn. I loved it. It was so exciting the way God had prepared my heart for this book. We had just heard from a missionary who has been smuggling "Fire Bibles" into China for the underground church. So when I read the book I already knew how closely these events and stories followed the real lifes of Chinese Christians. Amazing. I am looking for my next read from Randy and I'm glad for your site and insights. But it is harder now to choose which one to read next!
